We actively support tech startups from Madrid and Cambridge (Europe's 'Silicon Fen')
We offer a number of combined efforts to support acceleration of tech startups:
- We set up standard arrangements dealing with ownership and management of data, alignment with competition and State aid rules, and coordination with EU programmes and policies.
- We close the gap between investors and startups and between them and research projects.
- We promote convergence with EU regulatory norms and standards on issues such as data protection, privacy and data flows, the ethical use of AI, cybersecurity and trust, tackling disinformation and illegal content online, ensuring internet governance, and supporting development of digital finance and e-government.
- We facilitate the pooling of EU and national funding , assessing the complementarity and combination of the various sources of funding, while creating incentives to crowd in private investments.
- We support Europe’s Digital Decade, aiming at the creation of strong international digital partnerships among startups while fighting against unfair and abusive practices and ensuring the security and resilience of EU digital supply chains. To that end, we help them fine tune (upgrade) their business models and align their value proposition to the actual market demand (Key Performance Areas - KPAs) in a timely manner.
- We provide the legal capacity to facilitate startups to operate multi-country operations and pan-European services.
- We provide specialised acceleration services for startups, for example, sales foundations (sales plan audit & review) one-week workshops, and regulatory workshops to implement best practices that support them at all stages of their development.
Our active participation in the H2020 "GreenSoul" project, promoting Collective Awareness Platforms for Sustainability and Social Innovation to achieve higher energy efficiency in buildings, is an example of how we can help startups actively contribute to social sustainability, economic growth and community well-being.
